Brilliant. No written menu because they offered a completely flexible request system at the table by a member of staff. Food was hot, well cooked and very tasty. Delicious flat white coffee, nice big cups and saucers for hot drinks. Well done. Liked the very friendly and competent staff. Liked the lively pub atmosphere in the bar, lots of locals as well as visitors which is always a good sign of a well run bar. Lovely newish fluffy towels in room.

Location is right on the high street. Breakfast is excellent value, good portions. The bar is friendly with a good food and drink selection and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, well appointed and despite being over a busy bar and in the main street, it was quiet.

Loved the location - very central. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and even though we had been advised of live music, the sound proofing was very good and once in our room couldn't hear a thing and slept soundly. The Manager and staff we met were all very friendly and made us and our German Shepherd very welcome.

1-the location (in the middle of the town, near the central plaza) 2- authenticity of the inn 3- the room (nr 5) with street view 4- the beer (Tiger) from the bar 5- the breakfast (the english breakfast) the matress (soft) 6- the lady that helped me with the reservation of the taxi and who ask me about my trip purpose…. nice touch! -Thanks!! not this specific order

Great pub with really delicious food, staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy, comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfortable, good shower. Nice coffee machine with coffee pods. Full English Breakfast was amazing! Great location to visit Stamford and Rutland. Thank you for a really nice stay.
